Tom, a graduate of Bellefontaine High School and Ohio University, started this family business and chose to remain in Logan County because of the strong family connections. His office was located at 204 East Columbus Avenue, where the business operated for 45 years. Tom’s wife, Charlotte worked alongside as a bookkeeper while Tom worked as a sole proprietor until 1994 when the business was purchased by his son, John T. Belser, CPA . Tom’s daughter, Anne, also joined the business in 1979, and she currently serves as a bookkeeper and office manager. Charlotte is now retired, but John and Anne are still working together to manage and operate the family business.
